Breast surgery

Breast surgery encompasses a variety of medical procedures that aim to change the shape, size, or structure of the breasts. This includes procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast reconstruction. These surgeries may address aesthetic or medical needs, allowing patients to improve their self-confidence, correct asymmetries, or restore breast shape after cancer surgery.

Breast augmentation

Breast augmentation is a surgery that increases and restores the size of the breast using silicone gel implants, saline implants or, in other cases, fat tissue transplantation.

It is a very popular and frequently performed surgery, which has had great success in terms of the satisfaction of women who want to improve, regain and restore the aesthetics of their body.

BREAST AUGMENTATION MAY BE CONSIDERED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

  • Have a more proportionate and attractive body

  • If pregnancy, weight loss or gain, and age have affected the size and shape of your breasts

  • To restore proper symmetry between your breasts if one of your breasts is smaller than the other

  • If you think your breasts are too small

It is important to note that breast augmentation does not correct severely sagging breasts. If this is the case, a breast lift will need to be done in addition to breast augmentation. Both procedures may be done during the same surgery or may require separate procedures.

Combined: Addition Breast lift

Many women seek a breast lift to counteract changes caused by pregnancy, significant weight gain or loss, or the natural aging process. It is important to know that a breast lift can lift and reshape sagging breasts, but cannot increase their volume. Breast augmentation can therefore be combined with a breast lift.

If you are happy with the size of your breasts when lifted by your bra, a breast lift alone may be sufficient. If, on the contrary, you are not happy with their size when lifted by your bra, then a breast augmentation combined with a breast lift is an interesting option for you.

A breast augmentation with a breast lift is probably the most complex cosmetic breast surgery, since two different operations are necessary in order to achieve the desired result. Dr. LeBlanc's finesse as well as his great skill and experience in breast remodeling will allow you to obtain optimal aesthetic results.

Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is a strictly male problem and involves an exaggerated growth of fatty and glandular tissues in the male chest. An increase in the chest due to an excessive proliferation of the glandular components of your chest is corrected with surgery to remove the glandular component.

Gynecomastia correction can be done at any age. In obese or overweight people, exercise and proper diet should be encouraged before surgical correction.

Gynecomastia correction can improve aesthetics and self-confidence. If your expectations are realistic, this surgery can give you very beautiful results and great satisfaction.

Inverted nipples

Many women have naturally occurring inverted nipples, which can be cosmetically embarrassing. They may be inverted all the time or only when relaxed. Women with inverted nipples are usually born with this condition. The ducts within the breast tissue are often too short and pull the nipple inward. Sometimes, inverted nipples occur following breast surgery such as breast reduction, breast lift, and other breast cancer procedures.

Correction of inverted nipples is a simple and effective procedure. In order to correct them, the nipple is carefully straightened and a small incision is made at the base of it. The ducts inside the nipple are then divided, allowing the nipple to remain in its new position.

This procedure, which lasts about 10 to 20 minutes, is usually done under local anesthesia. It is not insignificant that an inverted nipple correction is combined with other breast surgeries such as a breast lift or breast augmentation.

Usually, most patients can continue their daily activities following the procedure. However, any aggressive physical activities (e.g. contact sports) will only be allowed after 4 weeks.

Breast Lift

Breast lift, also known as mastopexy, involves lifting the breast by removing excess tissue and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. The areola is repositioned higher, which improves aesthetics. Breast lift can also be done in conjunction with breast augmentation.

Breast lift surgery can be done at any age after your breasts have finished developing. It can also be done before or after your pregnancy. Breastfeeding is not compromised after a mastopexy.

Breast lift may be considered in the following situations:

  • Sagging or uneven breasts
  • Areolas that “fall” downwards
  • Stretched Areolas
  • When pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight gain or loss, aging have negatively affected the shape of your breasts
  • If breast augmentation alone cannot achieve the desired results

Facial surgery

Whether you're concerned about the signs of aging or want to reduce redness, pigmentation or acne scars, facial rejuvenation offers solutions that help renew your skin and restore its natural glow.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelids)

Blepharoplasty is a surgery performed on the eyelids. It is done when the eyelids sag and look lower on the face. This surgery is performed by removing excess skin, muscle and fat that cause this effect. As we age, the muscles that support the eyelids become weaker, which can cause fat reserves to accumulate above or below the eyelids. This can even create bags under the eyes. In addition to giving an older appearance to the face, these consequences can affect the quality of your peripheral vision. Here are some signs that may encourage the exploration of a possible blepharoplasty:

  • Drooping or swollen eyelids
  • Excess skin on the upper eyelid that interferes with your vision
  • Lower eyelids that are drooping and cause a significant portion of the whites of the eyes to be visible
  • Excess skin on the lower eyelid
  • Bags under the eyes

Otoplasty (Ears)

Otoplasty is a surgery performed on the ears. It may be an option when the ears appear too far apart from the rest of the head. This surgery can be performed once the ears have reached their final size, usually after the age of 5. Here are some situations where otoplasty may be helpful:

  • The ears appear to stand out from the head
  • The ears are wider in proportion than the head.
  • Repairing ears following an accident or birth defect

Otoplasty is usually performed on both ears to promote symmetry. It will not change the location of your ears or jeopardize your ability to hear.

Redrapage facial

A facelift is a surgery that is performed to improve the visible signs of aging in the face and neck. Signs that can be improved include:

  • Sagging in the middle third of the face
  • Deep folds under the eyelids
  • Deep folds around the nose and extending to the corners of the mouth
  • Misplaced grease
  • Loss of muscle tone in the lower part of the face which creates jowls
  • Sagging skin and excess fat below the chin that can give the appearance of a double chin even to a person of normal height

It is very important to know, however, that this surgery cannot change the fundamental appearance of your face or stop the aging process.

Facial rejuvenation

Cosmetic injections offer a minimally invasive approach to achieving a rejuvenated, refreshed, renewed, and balanced appearance. These treatments, which include popular options like Botox and dermal fillers, work by targeting specific areas of the face to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, restore volume, and improve facial contours.

BEAUTIFUL SKIN AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

At our clinic, we use IPL combined with RF (radiofrequency) for a synergistic effect to achieve optimal results: this is ELOS™ (Electro Optical Synergy) technology where IPL and RF work in close collaboration. In other words, if IPL and RF individually give good results, together they improve the quality of the skin even more.

In summary, IPL reduces dark spots and redness while warming the skin to better prepare it to receive RF energy which stimulates collagen and improves skin tone.

THIS TECHNIQUE ADDRESSs CHANGES IN SKIN COLOR AND TEXTURE

Whether it's to treat redness, dark spots, have smoother skin, reduce fine lines or other signs of skin aging, ELOS is the treatment you need.
