Procedure
This surgery is performed under general anesthesia. An incision is made at the bottom of the abdomen, below the panty line, and another is made around the navel. These are necessary to provide adequate access to the abdomen in order to tighten the muscles and remove fat deposits. Then, excess skin is removed and the incisions are closed with stitches.

Trigger finger is a painful condition that causes the fingers of the hand or thumb to cramp or lock into one position when flexed. This condition occurs most commonly when the tendons in the fingers or thumb are inflamed.
Trigger finger can be caused by repetitive movement or overuse of the fingers or thumbs. Rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and diabetes can also cause this condition. Even a smoker who frequently uses his thumb to light his cigarette can develop trigger finger.
People at risk
Farmers, industrial workers and musicians are often the people who are most affected by this condition since they often repeat the same movement with their fingers and thumbs. Trigger finger is most common in women between the ages of 40 and 60.
Symptoms
One of the first symptoms of trigger finger is discomfort at the base of the fingers or thumb. The most common symptom is a painful cracking sound that occurs when the person bends the fingers.
As the condition worsens, the finger or thumb becomes locked in a bent or even straight position.
Treatment
The first step is usually to rest your finger or thumb completely. Your doctor may even provide you with a device that will prevent your joint from moving. If symptoms continue, your doctor may prescribe medications such as ibuprofen or naproxen, which are anti-inflammatory drugs. He or she may even suggest injecting steroids into the tendon that is causing the pain. If the condition does not improve, hand surgery is often required.
Lipectomie
It is a surgery that involves removing excess fat and skin from a part of the body. This procedure is similar to liposuction, where only the fat is removed. Of course, Dr. LeBlanc will evaluate the area to be treated as well as the texture of your skin to advise you on whether it is better to opt for a lipectomy or liposuction.

Procedure
Depending on the areas to be treated, Dr. LeBlanc will opt for intravenous sedation or general anesthesia to perform the surgery. Incisions will be made in strategic locations to be as invisible as possible. Excess skin will be removed and stitches will be made along the incision.
Liposuction
Liposuction or liposuction allows you to slim and reshape a part of the body by removing fatty tissue. The procedure has an effect on the volume of the treated area, but also on its shape. Liposuction does not necessarily allow you to lose weight, but rather serves to balance the proportions of the body and the harmony between its different parts. Many areas can be treated: the neck, chin, cheeks, arms, armpits, hips, buttocks, abdomen, inside or outside of the thighs, knees, ankles and calves.

Procedure
Depending on the extent of the planned procedure, Dr. LeBlanc will choose the most appropriate anesthesia for you: local anesthesia, intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. To begin, a solution is injected into the area to be treated to facilitate the removal of fat and reduce bleeding and pain. Then, a cannula (thin, hollow tube) is inserted under the skin and, using back-and-forth movements, the fatty tissue is dislodged and then suctioned out.
